There are plenty of ways to incorporate all the fun stuff we love about summer, like refreshing icy poles, without subjecting yourself to artificial colours, flavours, preservatives or sugar!
By making them yourself, you can be sure they are free of colours, additives and all the nasty stuff. They are really simple to make and can be super-charged with our very own range of Byron Bay Detox Greens for a potent and vital mix of alkalising and antioxidant-rich vegetables, algaes, herbs and extracts. A great way to add essential nutrients to your kids diet without them even knowing.
Ingredients:
1/2 cup mango
1/2 green apple
1 Lebanese cucumber
1/2 cup baby spinach
6 mint leaves
1/2 cup water
1 tsp Byron Bay Detox Greens
Instructions
Add all ingredients to a blender and blitz until smooth.
Divide mix between 6 ice block moulds and freeze for 4-5 hours or until completely frozen.
For a creamier alternative, swap the water for coconut ice-cream.
Makes 6 serves.
